Alternate title, “$0.60 Delivered So Much“

I found a library card at the train station. Deciding mailing it back to the library seemed prudent. Not having mailed actual letters in a heart beat, I visited my local USPS to buy a stamp. Normally I hit the automagic machine so I don’t have to talk to people, but the stamp machine was already occupied and I observed two underutilized employees behind the counter.

“Can I do this? I need a stamp.” I ask the USPS employee.

I appreciated her not hiding her eye roll, it was quite the doozy.

This is the cheapest laugh I’ve had in a bit.
