Two haunts of mine. One is my Friday ritual, resurrected after a number of years hiatus. The other a perennial favorite. Both soon to be gone, history replaced by modernization and eager developers.

For one who enjoys the taste and variety of bourbon and who lives in a state where selection is hard to come by, The Bourbon House (8 years running), was a complete surprise to me.

Creativity. Talent. 10,000 hours. Individually, not nearly as powerful as when combined. Each alone, appreciable, but useless without action. In a society of mass manufacture, consumption and disposal its unique efforts and implementations I appreciate the most. Alexa, Google, Sonos all serve their limited purpose.
