I spent two hours re-wiring the speakers and fixing this circa 1990’s JVC, 6-CD, dual tape deck, AM/FM component stereo purchased in Okinawa Japan when I served as a mortarman in the United State Marine Corps. Since then it has accompanied me everywhere I have lived.  Today this relic pumps sweet music to the speakers in my garage and back yard.   I know I could replace this 20+ year old stereo with something much smaller and better capability/capacity.  There are too many memories tied in with this old box.
